RCM Specialist
Job Location: Abbottabad (In-person)

JOB OVERVIEW
The RCM Specialist is an expert in medical billing with comprehensive knowledge across all domains of the Revenue Cycle Management process including Billing, Payments, Accounts Receivable and Credentialing.
In this role, the Specialist is expected to have in-depth expertise in AR and Denial Management. You will be responsible for overseeing the health of assigned practices and ensuring smooth revenue operations. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the Team Captain to achieve the practice’s financial targets.
Responsibilities
- To be an expert in AR and Denial Management.
- To ensure patient information is accurately and completely entered into the EPM.
- To review patient admitting records and extract relevant information.
- To be able to work independently without supervision from the Team Captain.
- To check and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
- To perform any other duties as instructed by Team Capitan.
- End to End responsible for the assigned practice and achieving MAGMA standards.
- To complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks assigned by the team Capitan.
- Assisting your team Capitan in daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- To have a complete understanding of the assigned practices.
- To be able to work independently with minimal supervision from the Team Captain.
- To fully understand the workflow of AltuMed (Medical Billing Software) and other EPMs.
- To understand work through EHR, LIS and web portals.
- To understand and adhere to all HIPPA compliances.
- To have the flexibility of weekends or overtime.
- To work on errors, Rejections on daily basis to make the practice healthy and clean.
- To work on all queries from other departments and also share queries related to the provider office.
- To manage the tasks in bulk. Also, needs to take initiative for new clients.
- To assist the other team members on other clients as well along with assigned clients.
- To track Denials related to billing and make protocols/amendments in practice instructions and share with the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in science preferably D- Pharm, Physiology Biochemistry, BBA, MBA. Etc.
- Candidates with 4 years plus of experience in the medical billing Industry.
- Excellent domain knowledge of the US- Healthcare Industry.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
- Extensive knowledge of the use of email, search engine, Internet; ability to effectively use payer websites.
- Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Comfortable working in a target-oriented atmosphere
- Ability to work under pressure and complete the project by meeting the deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and should be a good team player.
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven.
- Critical Thinking and a can-do attitude.
- Excellent Typing and work process speed.
