Network Support Engineer

Shift: Evening  Abbottabad (On Site)

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Network Support Engineer you are expected to proactively analyze issues, perform troubleshooting and incident response on the system, communicate with site technicians and track problems through to resolution. The Network Support Engineer also prepares reports and keep a track of all the issues reported and issues fixed along with other information.

Responsibilities

  • Patching Server and workstation based on the company policy.
  • Testing the patches before rollout to organization level.
  • Need to follow best practice guideline all manners with Help Security Admin in developing system level policies, procedures best practice and hardening of servers
  • ITIL and MOF framework well knowledge, Document and follow internal procedures.
  • Well know about Antivirus End point & EDR solution and international standard products
  • Well knowledge experienced MAC OS, Mobile devices well knowledge.
  • Need to handle daily operations. Give priority assign task, pending work
  • Report needs to submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity
  • Need to maintain check list daily base and improve accordingly
  • CCTV and access control need to maintain, monitor, health test daily bases.
  • Maintain inventory of all datacenter equipment and cloud, software and licenses All applications licenses and hardware’s, warranty need to renewal before expiring in advance
  • Need support for purchasing hardware’s and software’s for preparing RFP technical specification
  • Need support for evaluation any IT project
  • Office 365 E5, MS Team, One Drive, MS PowerPoint, Visio, and Project mgmt... Well known.
  • Install, test, and configure new workstations, servers, network devices peripheral equipment and software.
  • Whenever require as per emergency to late stay in office for assign task or pending work need to complete even holiday.
  • All down time need to plan according to approval and change management process.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelors / Masters in Information Systems or Computer Sciences
  • 1 to 4 years’ experience in network support
  • Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CEH, ComTIA Network+, VMware Certified Professional, Wireshark OR any other relevant certification
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Able to apply understanding of applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, HL7).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change, work independently and manage teams, organize work effectively and take initiative in fast-paced work environment while managing multiple tasks and deliverable simultaneously.
  • Excellent knowledge of LAN and WAN
  • Good time management skills.
  • Passionate to work in a diverse environment within the bounds of processes
