IT Infrastructure and Cloud Manager

Timings: 5:30PM-2:30AM

Work Location: Onsite ( Abbottabad)

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee the planning, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of our IT infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring operational excellence and the standardization and optimization of our IT hardware and system availability around the clock.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute short plus long-term strategic plans to assure infrastructure capacity attains current and future needs.
  • Develop, execute and oversee procedures, policies and related training plans for project management and infrastructure administration.
  • Manage and establish priorities for maintenance, design, development and analysis of entire infrastructure systems inclusive of LANs, WANs, internet, security and wireless implementations.
  • Conduct research and recommend changes in services, products, protocols and standards to support development efforts and infrastructure procurement.
  • Supervise data center group and lead, direct and utilize knowledge on best practices in area related to infrastructure.
  • Define and manage IT Disaster Recovery Strategy for organization.
  • Define software and hardware standards in collaboration with stakeholders and owners.
  • Test server performance plus provide network presentation statistics.
  • Report and prepare strategies to maintain server infrastructure.
  • Ensure apt security levels on network, infrastructure and servers are maintained.
  • Oversee operational costs, conduct near along with long-term financial estimates for expanded functionality and user base.
  • Direct and administer conditional network analysts plus technicians to provide leadership and direction.
  • Ensure to practice IT asset management inclusive of component inventory maintenance and associated documentation.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments
  • Experience in cloud migration strategies (lift & shift, re-platforming, modernization) and workload assessment
  • Understanding of cloud cost optimization (right-sizing, reserved instances, auto-scaling)
  • Proficiency in scripting & automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash
  • Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and data center operations
  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts (VPN, DNS, load balancing, SD-WAN) in cloud and on-prem environments
  • Strong background in cybersecurity frameworks (HITECH, NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation
  • Ability to design high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
  • Strong vendor management and SLA governance skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in IT/CS + 5–10 years infrastructure experience
  • Cloud certification Solution Architect (AWS/Azure/GCP) with migration experience
  • CISSP / Security+ (for cybersecurity)
  • VMware / Kubernetes certifications
